Hey there everyone. As I said before, I'm making a small mini game with Dan-hand. It's time, to show you this project. Main idea for this game isn't anything complicated. I think it will be something like that: collecting points, gold or something and avoiding or eliminating enemies (for example small, walking pumpkins) as long as you can. I'm not sure, but maybe I make small level with boss on the end... Anyway, I not only want to show you my mini game, I want to ask you too. What do you want to see in this game, and what are yours ideas?

Nice for a pre-alpha mini test Just to let others know this is a green Dan-Hand moving around a plain white environment, unless I missed something Though walls do seem to exist. The finger/walking movements are impressive, the music is the museum music (nice touch) and Dan even makes his classic 'hup' noise as he jumps (thought it sounds like it might be the jumping sound of the full sized Dan rather than Dan-Hand).
I think the main theme of the game will have to be collection and avoidance, kind of like a 3D Pacman Maybe there is a power up that allows Dan-Hand to damage enemies by walking into them much like the power pills. You could give Dan a Mario style 'jump on their heads' attack but in a 3D game that's always a dodgy thing to get just right I imagine. Possibly some sort of 'zombie spit' attack powerup, like the plants have in the Enchanted Forest?

Works fine for me as well. Some of the textures flicker a little bit, but that might be because my build sucks. Some of them are also weirdly stretched and certain areas seem to be untextured. Oh, and you can apparently still press the jump button while jumping which will always play the jumping sound effect. I also found the camera to be a bit wonky.
But this is an early version after all. I think this has great potential and I totally love it, keep it up! I have a wonder though; are you going to implement the "Daring Dash" into the game?
As for ideas... Multiplayer could be fun. I mean, since MediEvil 2 already played with the idea of time travel and traveling between parallel universes (timelines), it wouldn't be too weird to have multiple Dan Hands running about. You could have races or hide n' seeks or whatever else that way. Multiplayer might be hard to implement though, I dunno.
Hmmm... I did new version of this file - it should help, but I'm not sure. I checked this game on 2 computers with Windows XP and Windows 7 and it worked without any problem. If the problem still will occur maybe you try run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP or Windows 7 if you have Windows 8.
Yes, I'm going to implement the "Daring Dash" into the game, maybe in next version. And multiplayer... I don't know, maybe, but multiplayer require a lot of work. It's so hard to make.
