Thank you. We are starting from there to see how everything can work. Making the cutscenes will help us to balance the game economy in terms of polygons and let us play with lighting and scenes which will even be playable (the Zarok's Lair, the Graveyard, the Sleeping Village). At the moment, we are moving some strings in the scenario of the castle at the sunset: the model has been improved, like the clouds palette and details, and we have the model of the vulture that appears in the video, so it's time to actually male the cinematics. We will bring you something new as soon as possibile. Cheers!
Nice, I'm really glad you are making progress! What do you think, are you going to keep the original 4:3 aspect ratio (during gameplay)?
Well, that is a good question. The video should be in 16:9, and I would say we will leave, on a side, some freedom for the player to adjust the screen resolution and aspect ratio, and, on the other side, we will look for the best fitting solution.

Well well, I prefer to keep the extra story secret, but here is what it is supposed to happen: while doing all the original stuff, exploring the original levels and following the exact original storyline, Dan will have to deal with a new character, which has his own story to be unveiled through both original levels and new areas. So, if everything goes well and Sony does not stop us before, the game will feature a Resident Evil 2 style double-character gameplay. A big part of the design is right there, in the mechanics of this new character and in the level design of the new areas, but now it's still too early to start developing it deeper than in the GDD.

Actually, we are stealing the original concept for the characters and the locations, the story and the names of characters and places. We cannot escape from the threat of the cease and desist letter, but yes, we are avoiding any other dangerous behaviour, and for now being so unnoticed is good.

Ahahah, cannot hide the truth, but part of the truth is also that we are very clearly stating this is purely non-profit and that we are open and contactable. Speaking of fan remakes, have you checked Tomb Raider: The Dagger of Xian? I heard Crystal Dynamics approved it, so... should we hope?

Greetings! We are back with a fresh screenshot from the Entrance Hall as it was in the original intro. There is still so much to do, on this scene, that it often feels overwhelming, but I am satisfied enough by the result, so far. What are your thoughts?
