And now, presenting Medievil in true 16:9 widescreen!
Some comparison images:
A few things to note: The background and cursor on the pause menu as well as the background for the conversation text are scaled down. This causes the text boxes to look wierd. Other than that, the game looks perfectly fine.

I'm finding it hard to tell the difference on my TV, I mean when I set the screen size to 'full' it doesn't really make the picture look that different. I know the codes worked cause the thing that you mentioned with the text boxes is occurring though.
Maybe it would make more of a noticeable difference on a PSP, especially as I have two so I could literally see them side by side If anyone gets that working then please let me know!
Just tried the widescreen code on my 720p laptop. Very good!
EDIT: Just some info on why the text boxes are misaligned; the black "backdrop" for the text is most likely an image, while the rectangle surrounding it is probably just a function in the code that renders a rectangle based on x,y position parameters and x,y scale parameters. With the scale, it most likely uses the resolution in the scale values, which means the widescreen code scales the rectangle but not the black backdrop.
Par exemple: ResolutionWidth/2 would return 512 on a 1024x768 resolution, because it's dividing 1024 by 2.
The widescreen mania ensues (I'm aware of the PCSX2 thread)! Great hacks! It would be a good idea to list the game ID for each version hacked. I know it's a bit tedious to do, but it helps keep things in order (and easier to track a specific version). What US demo is this code for?
Oh I thought it would have, I did look at threads to see if they had it on there. But I guess I missed out the threads it was on. But then again there are loads of threads so I probably would have been there all day looking for it. It's a great website though dont you think? It shows in great detail about the medievil series, which well I mostly knew about it all ready but it is well structured and its just overall a great website. Thanks for notifying me DF

After playing resurrection I went back and played Medievil 1 and decided to ride the coffins in Return to the Graveyard, There's gold back there and a book telling you how clever you are. *^_^* Im not sure why it took me 18 years of playing this game to do that... but it was such a happy moment to find that. *sigh* Good times.
