Those are really interesting, thanks I guess you never think about HOW the levels are built and how it all works, just what is in them. Also I thought some of the icons on the map are pretty cute

Levels are the same as levels in first MediEvil. There's only better textures.

More like inspired by, the levels in the most part are laid out somewhat differently with only key elements being the same.

Levels are the same as levels in first MediEvil. There's only better textures. They share the same name and some of the same features, but I would hardly say they are just upgraded textured versions of Medievil 1 levels.

I didn't say that it's the same models. I mean that in MediEvil Resurrection levels are the same. e.g. Graveyard, Hilltop Mausoleum etc

Some are somewhat similar, and even the ones that are, are nothing like their Medievil 1 versions. For example, explain to me how the two versions of the Graveyard are anything like each other? They are completely different and clearly not just upgraded texture wise.
Not being rude, but are you sure you've played Resurrection and not just a version of Medievil 1 on the PSP by accident?

I think he meant both games have most of the same levels. Which is a given, since Resurrection is a remake, after all. Can't have a remake without a lot of the same.

I've played Resurrection on PSP and MediEvil 1 on PSX. I know both parts. I know that's a remake. I mean that this parts are not as different as a MediEvil and MediEvil 2. It is a pity that instead of remake we don't have a third part.

Saying both of the following: "Levels are the same as levels in first MediEvil. There's only better textures" "I didn't say that it's the same models. I mean that in MediEvil Resurrection levels are the same. e.g. Graveyard, Hilltop Mausoleum etc"
Without specifically saying something like "The names of certain levels are the same", you can see why I might have thought you were getting it wrong, right?
On a side note: As we have later found out (and I found this really interesting) from the question we later got to ask developers or people involved with the series, Resurrection actually featured a lot of stuff that had to be cut from Medievil 1 (like the duck shooting, as evident by a file name being found inside Medievil 1 for example). So essentially Resurrection was a next generation directors cut of Medievil 1.
